The International phone code of Austria is: +43. Telekom Austria is the main service provider of the country. There are plenty of public phones in the cities, phone card can be bought at every post office, or tobacconist's shops. Mobile phones can be used in Austria well, GSM networks are operating on 900/1800 Mhz range. You can use public telephones by Telekom Austria or mobile phone network, which works on GSM 1800.

Shopping:
Shops are usually opened on weekdays from 9a.m to 6p.m, on Saturdays from 9a.m to 12a.m (Grocery stores open at 8am), but there are some tourist areas, like railway stations, airports, etc, where shops usually are more longer opened, until 23pm.
